A strong earthquake measuring 5.2 on Richter scale jolted twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Malakand division and Azad Jammu Kashmir, causing picnic among earthquake victim of October 08, 2005.

No loss of life or property has been reported According to the details, a strong earthquake hit Manshera, Batgram, Balakot, Abbotabad, Naran, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Charsadda and different areas of Malakand division. The intensity of earthquake was 5.2 Richter scale while its epicenter was North West of Pakistan, according to metrological department.

The tremors have caused panic among earthquake victims of October 08, 2005 while children of some schools in Manshera and Balakot came out due to panic.
