Security Forces impound 14 vehicles prepared for suicide attacks

Security forces have brought nine youth before the media who were allegedly involved in getting training of suicide bombing and recovered 14 vehicles which were prepared for suicide attacks.

Private TV Channel reports said that these young suicide bombers including a girl were brought before the media in Circuit House Swat. They told media that they had got training from militants.

These young boys were handed over to security forces by their parents while two of the boys have handed over themselves to security forces voluntarily.

Brig Tahir Hameed Rana while addressing a press conference in Swat Circuit House has said that the operation in Swat is yielding fruitful result and it would continue till the presence of the last militant.

He said that 95 percent life in Mingora has returned to normalcy. Therefore, all banks in Mingora city will be reopened by July 31 while National Bank has been activated, he added.

He said that security forces during search and destroy operation have recovered a large number of arms and ammunition, vehicles and furniture of schools & banks which the militants has looted before the commencement of the operation.

Besides, the security forces have also recovered 14 vehicles which were prepared for taking part in suicide attacks.

He told that a 15-day ban has been imposed on driving rickshaws in Swat from today.

Similarly, Brig Tahir Hameed Rana has said that government is making arrangements for the free education, hostel accommodations and food for these arrested young boys brought to media.
