Former President Supreme Court Bar Association Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has said that the apex court summons to former President Pervez Musharraf could not bound him to present himself in the court personally.

Talking in a private TV Channel program here Wednesday, he clarified that the summons of Supreme Court aimed to seek stance from the former President on 3rd November 2007's unconstitutional act and on this notice the court could not announce any sort of punishment for him, while he could clarify his stand through his lawyer.

He further stated that Former President Pervez Musharraf could be held on trail under article-6 of the constitution, as he was not authorized to terminate and house arrest of 60 lawyers and he had also coerced the judges to take oath according to his personal terms and whims.

Former President Pervez Musharraf has left for America, for quite some time, not to come again in the country, as America had rescued him, and called him a coward in the uniform of Commandoes.

He said that in case he ever returned to Pakistan he should be tried for Bugti's killing and on other issues and the Government should put him on ECL (Exit Control List).
