Former President Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday has called on his legal councils and close friends after receiving the Supreme Court notice of summoning him on 29th July 2009.

Reliable sources said that former president of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf has contacted league leader, Khalid Ranjha, S.M Zafar and constitutional advisor Malik Qayyum after receiving the SC notice of summoning him on 29th July.

They briefed the Musharraf about the proceedings in the court, and afterward, Musharraf has seriously starting mulling on different options that how to defend his November 3rd Act.

Sources said that Musharraf was confident about his 3rd November act because he thinks that he had taken this step in greater national interests.

Sources said that Musharraf announcement to appear in the court might also threaten his life. Another option stands, that he will not personally appear in the court and perform all legalities through his legal counsel.

Legal expert said that it was not a criminal case, therefore, Musharraf can submit his answers through his lawyers.
