"I will appear in the court if need arises", says Musharraf

Former president Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf on Thursday has said that he will appear in the court when need arises.

According to Private TV Channel reports former president Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf met with former ministers, Faisal Saleh Hayat, Chaudhry Shahbaz, Omar Ayub and Babar Ghouri, besides his current legal advisors here on Thursday at his flat.

Later on, Pervez Musharraf also met with his legal advisor Abdul Hafeez Pirzada, which lasted for two hours.

After the meeting, Abdul Hafeez Pirzada said that Pervez Musharraf will appear in the court if he need arises. "It is not the proper time to appear in the court, " he said.

Abdul Hafeez Pirzada further said that Musharraf is continuously in contact with PML-Q in order to play his proactive role in Pakistani politics.
