'Best treatment facilities being provided to Jamila'

On the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, best treatment facilities are being provided to Jamila, daughter of Habib Jalib, who is under treatment in Lahore General Hospital and doctors are trying their best to save her life.

This was stated by a spokesman of Provincial Health Department. The Spokesman said that Jamila Jalib was shifted from Sheikh Zayad Hospital to Lahore General Hospital in a critical condition due to brain hemorrhage where Principal Postgraduate Medical Institute and renowned surgeon Prof. Dr. Nazir Ahmad had himself operated her and the patient has been kept in ICU where doctors are continuously looking after her and besides provision of all medicines, free air-conditioned room has also been provided to the family of the patient.

The spokesman said that on the special instructions of the Chief Minister, Senator Pervaiz Rashid and DGPR Mohyuddin Wani had visited the hospital immediately after the operation and enquired about the health of the patient. They had also met the members of the family and assured them full cooperation. The spokesman said that Chief Minister is also being apprised of the treatment facilities and health condition of Jamila Jalib.

The spokesman termed these information as baseless that the daughter of Habib Jalib is not being provided best treatment facilities. Meanwhile, MS General Hospital Dr. Iqbal Kazmi has said that Jamila is being provided treatment under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nazir and Prof. Nazir and his team are looking after the patient regularly but she is still unconscious and her condition is not out of danger. Dr. Iqbal Kazmi said that the hospital administration is providing all facilities to the patient and her family.
