PML-N MPA Shumaila Rana resigns on demand of PMLN

On demand of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) investigation committee after credit card scandal case, PML-N MPA Shumaila Rana has tendered her resignation on Friday.

The resignation was submitted before the President PML-N Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif who is also Chief Minister of Punjab and now the resignation would be submitted before the Speaker Punjab Assembly.

Shumaila Rana who was elected on reserved seat of Punjab Assembly is allegedly involved in credit card stolen case. Two members committee comprised on Senator Pervez Rashid and Ashfaq Sarwar Secretary General PML-N Punjab carried out the investigation and demanded resignation from Shumaila Rana some days ago but she refused to do so and sought more two days to prove her innocence.

Case against Shumaila Rana has been registered in model town Police station and case is being run in Court. After failing to prove her innocence, PML-N MPA Shumaila Rana tendered resignation from post of MPA.
