0.2m students to sit in Nationwide Wafaq -Ul-Madaris exams

Nearly 0.2 million students would be sitting in the Nationwide final exams this year by Wafaq Al Madaris, for whom 1105 exam centers have been established.

The Nationwide exams would also be held in Azad Kashmir and the areas where military operation was ongoing on 18 Jul 2009 Saturday and would continue until 23 July 2009.

However the IDP (Internally displaced Persons) would be allowed to appear in any of the Nationwide centres, suitable for them, provided they have duly filled and dispatched their admission forms. While these exams for both male and female entrants of NWFP would also start and end on same dates.

In a meeting presided over by president of Wafaq-Al-Madaris, Maulana Saleem Ullah Khan, and attended by Maulana Qari Muhammad Hanif Jullandahari, and other Ulema, all the modalities were deliberated and approved.

It was announced that 5,200 assistant invigilators, 1100 chief invigilators and 492 examiners have also been appointed.

The meeting strongly condemned the negative propaganda against seminaries by secular elements, Ahmadi elements, and affirmed that seminaries were havens of peace and harmony and were serving the noble cause of humanity.

The meeting also strongly condemned the recent suicide attacks on innocent Ulema and students and also stressed on the government to immediately cease a useless war for the pleasure of America, and a conducive foreign policy approved by Parliament.
